The method of fruit acid patch test
fruit acid is quite commonly used in skin care, but it is very important to perform a patch test before use, which can test whether the skin tolerates it or not, and prevent allergic discomfort. The method is as follows:
First, prepare the things required for the test. Clean cotton swab, a small amount of fruit acid products and a small piece of medical breathable tape.
Times, select the test site. Usually choose the skin behind the ear or the inside of the arm. These two areas are delicate and sensitive. If there is a reaction, it is easy to detect.
Then, dip a cotton swab in a little fruit acid product and apply it evenly to the selected test site, with an area about the size of a coin.
After applying, gently cover it with medical breathable tape and fix it to prevent the product from rubbing off.
After that, wait for observation. Generally, you need to wait for 24 to 48 hours. During this period, pay attention to the skin condition of the test site.
If the skin at the test site does not show redness, swelling, itching, tingling, peeling and other abnormal phenomena during the observation period, it indicates that the skin can tolerate the fruit acid product, or it can be used normally. If you have the above discomfort symptoms, even if it is mild, you should not use this fruit acid product to avoid damage to the skin.
Conduct the fruit acid patch test. Follow this step carefully to protect the skin and avoid adverse reactions.
