Review of a Glycolic Acid Scalp Scrub
Recently, I tried a glycolic acid scalp scrub called The Inkey List, and I felt it deeply. I made this review for you.
At first glance, its texture is delicate and soft and waxy. The matte particles are evenly distributed, and the size is moderate. It is neither too rough nor too painful to scratch the scalp. It is not too finely broken, and it loses the ability to clean the cuticles. Smell it lightly, the smell is elegant and fresh, and there is no pungent and rich fragrance. This is quite pleasant.
As for the use experience, when it is gently applied to the wet scalp and massaged with a little massage, the matte particles will start to work, gently rubbing off the old waste keratin accumulated on the scalp. At the same time, glycolic acid also quietly exerts its effect, penetrating deep into the hair follicles, cleaning oil and dirt, and promoting the metabolism of the scalp. During the massage process, it feels comfortable to the touch, without tingling or tightness, just like a comfortable scalp spa.
After rinsing, the scalp feels refreshed and transparent, as if it has been reborn. The hair strands also become light and fluffy, no longer as greasy and flat as before. Continued use for a period of time, the itching of the scalp is significantly reduced, and the dandruff is also reduced, which shows that its cleansing and soothing effects are significant.
However, this scrub is not perfect. Although the packaging design is simple, there are occasional inconveniences in the use process, especially when the balance of the paste is gradually reduced, it is difficult to completely extrude. And because it contains glycolic acid, people with sensitive scalp need to try it locally before use to prevent allergic reactions.
Overall, The Inkey List glycolic acid scalp scrub performs well in cleaning the scalp and improving the scalp environment. It is suitable for most people with non-extremely sensitive scalp. If the packaging design can be improved, it will presumably be more popular.
